This is probably the best winter jacket I've bought in a long time. It's very well made, warm, and looks good.

The white Whirlibird is just beautiful I have the white)! The liner is so soft and warm, not at all bulky. Shell and liner together SO WARM. Impervious to wind (haven't had a big rain yet). LOVE IT!

After trying this jacket I was happy to find that it is a very nicely made product. However there are a couple of design omissions, which I found slightly disappointing . And one minor design flaw. First, there is only one upper outside pocket (left side). Second, because of it’s roomy cut, it would be nice if it had a center draw string. And third, there is only one snap on the collar wind flap which dose not hold it securely against the neckline. (I am going to have a tailor put on a peace of Velcro to fix the problem.)
