Love these I haven't worn these skiing yet, but I just wore them, under a lightweight shell, to shovel the driveway this morning, and it's 19 degrees F (with a wind chill of 7 degrees). My legs were toasty warm the whole time. Marmot sizing confuses me. I need a small in their Scree pants, but in these PowerStretch pants, I need a medium, and they're snug. Not too tight, but snug (I'm wearing them as a baselayer; I'm about 5'6" and 118 pounds). The waist band is comfortably wide & soft, not binding at all; and it hits about an inch below my natural waist. I'd call it a "medium rise" waist, I guess. Works well for me; I hate having tight things around my waist, so I always look for medium- or low-rise pants & baselayers. So far, I'm loving these. And Altrec's fast order-processing and shipping was great.
