These boots are great! I wore them the first time camping this season and most of the time it rained. Most everything got wet but my feet stayed dry. They also make hiking easier trucking through mud and water. I wore them hiking when it was around 70 degrees and they weren't too warm.

I did quite an extensive search for a pair of comfortable boots that will keep my "always cold" feet warm. These boots do everything they say--and more. I am able to wear them on long walks through the woods with my dog in the afternoon; then, clean out the mud & wear them in the evening for a casual event. I will always pick these boots to wear if I have to walk a long distance in the cold weather; because I know my feet will be comfortable and stay warm! This boot keeps my feet warm and cozy. I would like it to be more flexible in the neck, however, it has a great footbed and lacing system that STAYS TIED! Once my feet get cold, they stay cold in this boot - all I need to do is change into dry socks and I'm good to go again!

I bought these boots to keep my feet warm and dry during the winter months and they have done just that. They are comfortable. I did not get blisters and they are well padded, but my feet don't sweat. I have used them in deep snow and in slushy conditions. Just need to give them a try with my snowshoes.

I wore these for the first on a very strenuous hike, not only were they extremely comfortable, but unlike most hiking boots, there was no break in period. They kept my feet nice and warm, and it was the first time I have worn a pair of new boots that didn't make something hurt. Wow! I love them! These are more comfortable than anything else that I own, other than my slippers.

BE KIND TO YOUR FEET! If you want dry, toasty feet, then these are for you. I personally don't like cold feet; these boots not only keep your feet warm, they have great support as well! They are waterproof and feel like slippers all day long. Trust me, you will not want to take them off once you put them on!

I have only worn my Thermo 6 Waterproof boots 2 times. I just have to tell you how pleased I am to have them..Went out for a hike 1 week ago with 4 inches of snow on the trails my feet were so dry and warm, it was a delight,also my feet were not tired after the 2 hour hike..

I put alot of miles on my feet over the years and since my run in with the lawn mower 7 years ago, losing 2 essential toes on my right foot I had yet been able to find boots let alone shoes that fit so well and I don't even need my 12 hundred $ orthotics in them. I bought my boots for a hiking trip along the Swiss Alpine Pass Route, which I plan to make later this year (May-June). It's now January, and here in Oklahoma, we've been having a snowier winter than usual. I've been trekking through slush and snow and ice with the boots. I can stomp through 3-4 inches of water/slush and my feet stay dry and warm. I can scuffle through inches of snow so that the boots are covered, and my feet stay warm adn dry. I walked for two hours on a cold, rainy day and my feet stayed dry and warm. The tread on the bottom of the boot grips dry to moist surfaces very well, but on slick, flat icy areas, they might as well be skates. However, I also bought a pair of LEKI trekking poles, which help give me stability on icy surfaces. The boots fit snugly and are relatively stiff- which means good joint support for long hikes on rocky terrain. However, I wonder if I should have bought a slightly larger size. I don't know how comfortable/uncomfortable the boots will be after 8 hours of hiking. I'm used to wearing Keen sandals, which don't constrain your foot at all, and it took me a little while to get used to a tighter fit. The weight (1 lb. each boot) is not uncomfortable, and contributes to the overal sturdiness of the design. I have confidence that these boots will stand up well to the higher Alpine trails, where temperatures drop and one may well encounter snow and ice well into July.
