The Mion Flood Gate for women is ready to meet the most demanding performance needs of those who earn their living on the river. The Flood Gate is ready for any Class, from a V rapid to Marine Biology 401.
- Contoured Footbed: Molded contoured, comfort footbed made with Round 2 EVA material (R2E) that contains a 20% recycled EVA compound
- 360 degree Webbing System: Stylish webbing made with 50% recycled PET spirals through the midsole and can be adjusted for custom fit. The upper webbing features strategically located linings in high-wear areas for added comfort and protection. A quick release buckle works in concert with a ladder lock so the straps stay put in any and all conditions
- 100% Water Compatible: Hydrophobic midsole, toe box and insole don’t absorb water and the recycled mesh webbing and upper linings are non-wicking, fast drying
- Protection: Protective toe is complimented by sand and water drainage ports
- Ultra-lite IMEVA: Injection molded EVA midsole is lightweight and comfortable too!
- Wet/Dry Traction: Ultimate traction on wet and dry surfaces with slip resistant tread design. Outsole features non-marking Gripstick™ rubber with 15% recycled Round 2 Rubber™ (R2R) compound.

Cathy - 2008-09-16great water sandals and very stable on river stones
The adjustability of the straps makes for a good fit. I was so surprised they worked so well. Only negative is the color. rather blah.

I have a pair of the Mion Current sandals, and absolutely love them, so I bought these without a second thought. I'm so glad I did! These sandals are just as awesome, maybe even better! They seem to have better arch support and I love that they aren't so "alien" looking as the Current sandals. These are lighter than any other "water" sandal I've owned (Chaco, Teva, etc.) and I've received many compliments on them. The straps adjust like Chaco's, through the foot bed, making the shoes highly adjustable to fit your feet. I have been wearing mine every chance I get and I'll probably buy another pair. My only complaint is that the colors for the men's sandals are so much better than the ones for women! But other than color, these are my new favorite sandals!
