So comfortable, you literally forget your wearing them!
I think it's been said a dozen times in the reviews and I have to agree; I've used them in the hot-n-dry to climb hills in AZ and Hot-n-sticky to run hills in Malaysia. These are the most comfortable, breathable, fast drying shirts I have ever owned, far better wicking & drying than polypro plus they feel like silk. They will snag easily in the wash, use gentle cycle and hang to dry and you'll love them for years!

Great Shirt
I bought this for my son and he loves it. I am buying more for him. He said that they are perfect to wear to his college classes under his fleece jackets. Very easy for him to wash. If you are looking for nice looking t-shirt type shirts I would recommend you buy these.

From the Arctic to the Desert, this shirt works!
Ok, so I bought a few of these shirts to be used as base layers for a trip to the arctic, and they worked perfectly, warming when you needed it, cooling and wicking when you needed it then too. And talk about comfortable, these shirts seem to be thermo-neutral, which is why I love them so much. In the cold, I feel perfect, in the heat, I feel like I'm naked. I loved my experience so much that after I got back I bought every color and have just about given up on cotton, because these shirts are 1000 times better. I've been in the desert with these shirts, too, and the same thing, super-comfortable and airy, and they dry MEGA-fast if you get them wet, and amazingly don't stain when you get products like oil or grease on them. I ride motorcycles and these things are great under your moto jacket, and when they occasionaly get greasy from your ride, they clean up nice. I'm not sure why the public uses cotton so much. Also, they stretch nicely without getting mis-shapen. I've started to turn my whole wardrobe into materials like this. The only downside is that when they snag, they snag big, which causes a large line to appear in the weave, but I decided I don't care, they're just too good! I would note that Altrec is also a great company to buy from, I had a wonderful experience with them.

Great shirt!
This shirt is lightweight, very breathable, and did it's best to keep me dry. I consider this a must-have in the summer heat of the Deep South. It dries very quickly. I usually wash it and then put it on a hanger to dry. It's probably dry before the rest of my clothes finish in the dryer. Great Product. Great service from Altrec!

Great long distance hiking shirt
I wore this shirt on my 2003 Appalachian Trail Thru Hike and fell in love with it then. Since then I've purchased 3 others for long distance hikes over the past few years. They wear great and dry fast. Only problem is they do get snags from time to time, but it never decreases the efficency of this shirt. Now if they could just make it odor free it would be perfect.

The King of Tshirts
The wicked T is very comfortable, dries rapidly, looks great, and girls like to touch it - how can you go wrong?! I liked my first one so much I've bought three more.My only complaint is that, like many synthetic clothes, it does not get along well with Velcro. I.E., it will snag and fray if it touches Velcro, which I discovered while wearing it with motorcycle gear that has Velcro on it. So be careful to not mix those two.

Excellent Shirt - Great Selection of Colors
Purchased a few for my husband and he has been wearing them every moment he is not at work - and would wear them to work if he could. No issues with snags as mentioned by others but knowing this I do launder them inside out, hang to dry and they are dry in no time.

Light weight, great moisture wicking, great feel.
As with other reviewers, I worry about durability. I've only used the shirt for running and hiking so far. I'm not sure I'd trust it for heavily wooded areas. My fear is snagging the fabric on trees. If the fabric lasts, I will certainly be back to purchase several more.

No More Cotton!
I must own something like 10 of these shirts; they're great! When I go to the gym, I don't "work out", I train; thus, I sweat a lot. I’m talking 500 calories of cardio a day and then weight training. These shirts don't weigh you down or feel like they're draping off your shoulders. They "whisk" perspiration off your body. I really don’t understand a product review of less than four (out of five) because this is the PERFECT athletic shirt. After wearing one, you’ll swear off cotton too!

Unsure
The shirt fits well and does its job at wicking away moisture but, I'm not sure how long it will last. The points where my pack chest snaps close wore the material and you can tell where my rub spots are located. Also my gear pouch that I hang from my chest straps wore away at the material. I will have to see how well it lasts on my next couple of backpacking trips before I order anymore.

Great Shirt
This is a very good shirt. It has a slightly loose fit and is similar to other coolmesh shirts. The cayenne is a nice red color. I will probably order more of these. I have a silkweight Patagonia, older Hind, and REI coolmesh shirts and like this one the best. No snags or other problems for me. I use cold water, woolite, and gentle cycle. And, of course, line dried.

Great shirt for an older hiker like me!
This shirt fits great. NOT an old man's shirt but rather a shirt that's works well for an older guy who doesn't want a tight-fitting, show-the-years shirt. I wear an XL and an XL fits perfectly. Shirt hangs comfortably and has good length so as not to ride up. I like it a lot and will buy others.

Very comfortable and quick drying
I went on a RTW trip last summer and brought two of these along as well as a couple other "quick drying" shirts made by other companies. The Mountain Hardwear ones were the most comfortable. I always washed clothes in the sink and the Wicked T was the easiest to wash and wring out. It dried faster than the other brands as well. Not a big fan of the logo on the back of the shirt. Still a great product.

Better than expected
I have wicking t-shirts from REI and Duofold, but I was surprised how great the MH Wicked T is. It feels much nicer (not softer, but soothing?) and it does a better job of wicking than the others. Mountain Hardwear fit has always been a problem for me - the XL Windproof Tech jacket fits perfectly, but the Torch was much too tight. The description here - relaxed fit - is accurate. I'd say order your true size.In sum, a bit pricey but worth it.

great shirt
As with the many other reviews, I like this shirt very much and highly recommend it to all my family and friends. If you don't yet have the wicked t as a wardrobe option you are truly missing out. The fit is good if you like room to move around. That is, this shirt will not show off your athletic physique but will keep you cool and dry. Enjoy!

They’re wicked all right!
Actually, I’ve been wearing it for at least a few minutes and some how I haven’t gotten a pull in it yet. Either the material is better than as described in some of the reviews, or I’m just not half the klutz I think I am (well, that’s not very likely). No matter what, the material is beautiful and very light. It is perfect for the gym or any other intense type of work out, and the fact that it hangs on the body pretty nice makes the whole experience very exceptional. Your move, Long or Short sleeve. Both are great. Size is true and the colors are awesome. The sleeves on the “long” version might not be that long, if you are a tall guy like me, but I find it more comfortable NOT to be pushing the sleeves back up, as I have to do with some other types of tops. Very awesome for Yoga, too!

Great Shirt!
I recently took this shirt to Hawaii for some hiking and snorkeling. I have several other wicking T-shirts including a Patagonia Capilene, Columbia and Duofold Varitec and the Mountain Hardwear is definitely my favorite. I did notice that because it wicks water so well that it didn't have any wind protection whatsoever. I got kind of cold after it rained on me and it started getting windy. Bring a windshirt or jacket maybe.

These have got to be the best tees out there!!!
These have got to be the best, most comfortable tee shirts available!!! I've slowly replaced just about all of my old tees in my wardrobe w/ these (as well as with the long sleeve shirts)!!! The colors are nice and subtle and (as silly as this sounds) the chipotle actually matches the color of my mountain bike dead on. I've used these tees for kayaking, backpacking, mountain biking and snowboarding in the late winter. I sweat like crazy, but these tees have proven invaluable and their light weight and minimal pack size mean that you can always bring along extras to change into later. These are a definite must for anyone who's active and enjoys simple looks paired with functionality and comfort.

Great for Women, Too!
I was looking for a good wicking t shirt to wear for work-outs and originally bought a Women's Wicked T. However, it was too fitted, so I returned it for a Men's Wicked T. This is perfect for work-outs, much more comfortable than a cotton t. It's also great for layering under a blouse in cooler weather. Try ordering a size smaller than your usual women's size for a good fit.
