Excellent shirts, Mountain Hardwear does it again!
The sizing seems right on to me. I bought 4 large shirts and they all fit like I would expect a large to fit. They have a little bit of a shine to them, which I don't prefer, but I think it's just the fabric and not MH trying to glam up their stuff. All in all, a great buy and a great price, thanks Altrec.

Best base
I bought this shirt for all 3 of my sons. They each have said this is heir favorite base layer to wear. Just like others have said--warm, soft and great wicking ability. Will definitely be buying more of these.

nice layer
I am a traveler and I travel light as possible. This lets me a add a super functional layer with near zero added weight and space. It is very comfortable and attractive. I got it in the midnight black, which is not black at all--more like a gun metal gray. I really like the color a lot.

Great shirt. The only shirt I wear on backpacking trips. Wicks the moisture, soft to the touch, and nice fit. Be careful, these shirts run a size bigger.

Very comfortable, soft base layer for all seasons
This is the tee that I wear for all four seasons. In summer, I wear it to block the sun. It is light weight, moisture wicking and soft. For winter, I wear this tee as a base layer. If you want to get a tee for four seasons, this is it.

Great shirt although it snags easily
I bought this shirt for my husband as a base layer for work. He's in construction and it has gotten pretty cold this winter in WA. He loves it!! It's long enough it can get tucked in and the sleeves are long enough too, which can be a problem for him because he's long torsoed and has long arms.

Best value for the money
So I wore the shirt while cycling in bright Israeli sun / 35 degrees Celsius / over 60% relative humidity. The shirt felt real great. Sweat was well removed from body and the overall feeling was much better then you'd have expected when you wear a long sleeves dark shirt in those harsh weather conditions. Only drawback may be what seems to be a high susceptibility of the fabric to rub. Something to watch for - large size is REALLY large.

Absolutely GREAT! Period.
If someone wants "silky smooth", buy silk...this is a plyester fabric which does it's job, pardon the expression, to a T(ee).I never thought I would wear long sleeve shirts in Florida in the summer, BUT, this Wicked T Long Sleeve makes me feel cooler than when I wore short sleeves. This shirt rules...thanks Mountain Hardwear.

Quick Dry-Quick Snag
Gotta love how the fabric breathes and how quick it dries...but it snags soooooo easily...hence the rub. If you only care about performance buy 3...if looks matter consider the hyperdry t or agility shirt.

Best Paddling Shirt Ever
Toss out your favorite, bedraggled cotton tees, and see what a real perfomance shirt can do for you. Combined with proper headwear, these (I bought two) shirts will protect you from the sun and keep you cool. They have extra long sleeves that reach right up to your gloves so you won't have that slippery sunscreen goop dripping on your paddle. They can scrunch up to fit anywhere in your pack and can be washed on the journey (biodegradeable soap please) and will dry in minutes. They wick away your sweat and look very good as well. Highly Recommended!!

nice shirt hot or warm weather
This shirt holds it's shape and feels like a solid shirt cool with a breeze and is a good sun block on hot days. The patagonia is a soft silk like shirt that does not hold it's shape, hangs off you like a shirt made with to much matterial. The mountain hardwear is the way to go.

Best Wicking Synthetic T - Period!
In the past decade I've worn synthetic wicking T's from - at least - a dozen manufacturers for summer wear. The Mountain Hardwear Wicked is simply the best. The fabric, weave, and construction make it the most comfortable, best wicking, and quickest drying of all other brands I've tried and the fit is superb and perfect for almost every outdoor pursuit. I've had no problem with odor, even after wearing the same shirt for a week or more in the humid summers of the southern US, and although the Wicked-T's may not be high-fashion, they're nice enough to serve as around-town, everyday wear. I've both some of the short-sleeves as well as the long-sleeves and I have to say that for summer backpacking and hiking the long-sleeved Wicked-T is the "best-all-around". this is one of those garments where one simply isn't enough because you're going to want to wear them all the time - along with Mountain Hardwear's Pack Shorts and Pants these have become outdoor 'classics' and deservedly so. There are a lot of terrific synthetic wicking T's available - but this one is simply the best I've tried (and appreciate when I recall those sopping wet, clammy, chaffing cotton t-shirts that I suffered through as a kid).

Great workout shirt
These shirts are great for workout. They wick sweat very well, and have an athletic cut and so do not snag on my hands. The only downside is that they get snagged on sharp objects too easily.

So light and comfortable, it's like a second skin. It wicks sweat away and dries faster than anything I've ever worn-and I love high performance gear.Looks great but does tend to snag. Altrec's sale price makes this purchase a no brainer!

Base
This shirt feels just like an athletic jersey. It will snag very easy but if you use it for a base layer you don't have to worry about that. It feels extremely light and breathable. It has a nice athletic cut and dries pretty fast. Id recommend it for a base, maybe not a trail shirt.

Awesome shirt, so light and cool!
I bought this shirt to go camping with. Specifically, I wanted it to go hiking with, as I wanted something light, that would cover up my arms (to keep bugs off), but would keep me cool in 25-30 degrees C weather. Well, it did all that I hoped it would, I was cool, no bug bites, and I could hike for a couple of hours and barely notice that it was on! The only thing I should note, is that the arms were just a touch short on me (only by about 3 inches, maybe), so for those with long (34/35) arms, be warned that your wrists will be exposed to the sun, and the bugs, and to prepare accordingly. Awesome shirt, will most likely buy another in the future!

Great fit and feel - too delicate
These are beautiful shirts. They wear well and look great. BUT they snag and pull threads way too easily. In that regard I was disappointed. I would have bought some more but the snagging problem makes them unuseable for me since I need these kinds of tech Tees to be durable.

Feels wonderful.
This shirt suits me so well. I want to wear them all the time. I even bought the short sleeve version. However I have washed each of my two long sleeve shirts once and there are so many snags and pulls I would not think of wearing them out for casual. I will keep them because they work so well for me on the trail. Regards

Great Base Layer
I live in Colorado at 9300 feet elevation and needed something that wouldn't get too hot during the day, but still keep me warm during the cool evenings. This shirt did just that. I've also found it makes a great base layer for the cold winter ascents. Breaths and wicks well. It does seem to snag more easily than I'd like though.

You'll Like it!
If you have used and like the short sleeve version of the Mountain Hardwear Wicked T, you'll also like this long sleeved version. Body fit is the same and sleeve length is perfect; I use a 35-36" sleeve length in a dress shirt and this fits right (unusual to get body and sleeve correct in the same size shirt!) The material is identical the short sleeve version, wicks moisture very well, and doesn't hold perspiration odor. On my last multi-day trek, I used the shirt in variable conditions of windy, damp, cool, and warm . . . depending where I was on the mountain . . . and I was never too hot or cold. Had I worn the short sleeve version, I would have had to augment it with light fleece or a jacket on the summit. Works as a light base layer also. The only negative comment would be the materials ability to snag. Bottom line . . . I'll add a few more to the arsenal.

Great shirt for active sports. I wear it to run and it works well as a wicking shirt; however, for the small price difference I think the eXtend shirt is a better value and offers use in a wider temperature gamet.

Many advantages and disadvantages...
It feels great! Very loose comfortable with athletic cut, and looks great. BUT, I was hiking through few light bushes and it snags VERY easily! So far I sent it back to Mtn Hardwear and I have been waiting for three months, but they can't find my color... UGH!

material is coming undone
This is the first time I have had trouble with a Mountain Hardwear product, and see most people have not had this problem. I have had the shirt for 3 months and worn maybe 6 times. I was all my poly together on cold and extra gentle cycle and dry gentle as well. The material has a fancy wicking weave, but the weave has been pilling easy and then unraveling. I will look to Mountain Hardwear and see how their warranty works.

Looks good, but...
I'm super picky about how fabrics feel on my skin and this shirt just doesn't cut it. For that kinda cash, it should feel silky smooth and ultra comfortable, but alas, it's got the scratchy factor.
