Inside you'll find a wicking Coolmax® mesh headband to keep the wet stuff off your face. The hat was too big for me, but perfect for our 7 year old.

Recently took this hat four wheeling in Mexico. It stayed on my head through the jungle and into rivers. I am blonde so it also prevented sun stroke with out making my head hot. It is small can be tucked in a pack or purse easily and still looks good. I loved it!

It's cute. It has a deep bowl, so it sits low on the head. I think I need a smaller size, since this one hangs over. I have a pretty big noggin, so I got the XL, but it really is XL! Thanks for making a hat like this in true sizes. Most hats are not sized for reality.

My boyfriend got a kick out of the flower seeing as though I'm not much of a girly-girl, but the hat was great. I stuffed it in my day pack and had it to protect me against the Andes equatorial sun! No sunburn on my face or ears!!!

i VERY NEARLY DID NOT BUY THIS HAT BECAUSE i LIVE IN UK AND WAS GOING TO HAVE TO PAY ALTREC $35 TO POST IT TO ME. HOWEVER BY HAVING IT POSTED TO A FRIEND IN USA WHO THEN FORWARDED IT TO ME, I MANAGED TO REDUCE THE POSTAGE TO AROUND $7 AND NOW I HAVE MY HAT. i LIKE IT A LOT BECAUSE IT IS ATTRACTIVE, FUNCTIONAL AND SO LIGHT THAT I HABITUALLY CARRY IT IN MY POCKET SO THAT WHEN THE SUN SHINES IN UK(A PRETTY RARE EVENT)I AM PREPARED FOR IT

Another nice item! Very packable and durable. Keeps most of the sun off and doesn't get you overheated. Even the rapids were no match!

I purchased this hat to wear on casual trips to the beach or to the farmer's market. I live in Hawaii, so I depend on hats, and I have really come to appreciate the quality and construction of Outdoor Research hats. This is my second Outdoor Research hat purchase, and I love how light and comfortable it is. The brim isn't as large as my other OR hat (Solaris), but it doesn't compete with my sunglasses or ponytail. I recommend this hat for casual wear - this hat probably wouldn't stay on in strenous or really windy situations.

This is perhaps my most light weight and delicate hat. I am a hat freak. This one can be used for travel. The rim is not large but it will prevent your brain from being fried in hot weather. I do like it a lot.
