In a world where snowdrifts are siren calls and puddles are shortcuts, the Puff-Ball is indispensable. Hooded and seriously warm, it has a Deluge? DWR (durable water repellent) shell that?s infallible against wind, rain and snow, and reverses to a quilted side for a whole new, and perhaps unsullied, look. High-loft, eco-friendly polyester insulation holds heat even when wet, reduces bulk, and compresses with ease. With a comfort-minded chin- and neck-protecting zipper garage, pockets, contoured hood with center panel, and stretchy, shape-holding waist, cuff and hood openings. Hand-me-down ID label inside. Relaxed fit.

I am 29 and I just purchased this great jacket for myself. It fits a bit bigger than I expected. I wound up buying a size large instead of an xlarge. The print and the weight of the jacket are superb. I love the maroon side with contrasting stitching.

I was having trouble finding the right coat for my 9 year old son...he did not want bulky but I wanted warm (we live in CT and winters can be cold). I think this is the perfect fit for both of us since it can be layered on tose really cold days. Fit is true to size and I LOVE Patagonia!

I receive many compliments on the awesome floral pattern and the reversible side is a really beautiful purple/maroon color.
The only down fall I see with this coat is that once turned to reversible side (purple) the pockets are not accessible.
Overall, it's a great layer and with a hood! :)

My son (6.5yrs) loves this coat. It fits perfectly and the hood is tapered in to keep the wind out. He says it is really warm, but I think we'd pair it with a fleece for the coldest winter days in Chicago. It is very well-made, like all of Patagonia products, and the customer service is top notch.
