Patagonia: Women's Down Vest

Playing rough in frosty conditions can literally knock the stuffing out of some lightweight down vests. That's why Patagonia's newly-enhanced Down Vest uses a tough variable ripstop fabric that can take the slides, slips and falls without losing the fluff (the variable ripstop yarns also create a cool cross dye color design). Patagonia recently revised the outer face material without compromising the weight, so both the shell and lining remain downproof, highly water repellant and lighter than a lot of similar reinforced alpine down designs. A newly configured quilted panel construction helps reduce bulk while improving your upper body mobility for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Stretch Spandex armholes enhance the overall range of motion.
