Used by veteran climbers, backpackers, and trail runners worldwide, the liner sock creates a friction buffer between the foot and outer sock. Assuming there is adequate volume within the hiking or running shoe, this additional layer takes the brunt of any rubbing, not your foot. These are excellent liner socks! Currently, I use them mainly during cold weather, since they provide a significant amount of warmth yet are still very thin. If your feet get cold easily, I would definitely recommend using these liners. And even if your feet don't get cold easily, I would STILL recommend using these liners, since they are super soft, comfortable, minimize sweat and are a natural fiber!

always end up with blisters so i bought these to wear under my hiking socks and so far so good. no more blisters. only downside i've noticed is that when your feet sweat the black dye will stain your feet.
