One mom who posted a review on the Altrec site mentioned that she planned to pass The North Face Denali girl's jacket on to a younger daughter because this garment is so durable. Taslan® nylon overlays at critical wear points greatly reduce piling, just one of the construction techniques employed to keep The North Face Girl's Denali Jacket looking good even after summer backpacking trips and winter ski outings. The Polartec® 300 series polyester fleece is soft, light, and warm. It dries quickly too, or zips into The North Face's waterproof shells as an insulating layer.

I bought one for each of my girls and they are still wearing them as their only jacket even though it was below freezing this morning. They run a little on the bigger size which is a good thing as I could buy my 16 year old a kids XL.

Although she no longer can wear a 16 girls she still can wear a North Face XL girls for at least a couple more years.

i'm 5'2" and got a girls large. although i prefer the fit of the girls medium, it was much too short in the arms and torso.
if you're 5'4"-5'7", buy the girls xl for added length. if you're any taller, go for the womens sizes to avoid having a ridiculously short jacket.

nothing like the real deal of the north face denali,i mean,if you don't have one you obviously don't need it,if you know what i mean...well,i have 3 and bouth one for my mom,is not completely windproof or water proof,but it can withstand some,but is about versatily,yor num 1 to go jacket,it does run big,so keep that in mind

I could not be any happier with the speed in which I received my North Face Denali jacket. It arrived quickly and was just as I ordered. The jackets are a big hit in our house ~ all 4 of my children have them. They are light to wear but nice and warm. The price was also very reasonable compared to most stores. I give it 5 stars!!

I am 21 years old, about 5'7'' and weigh about 130. I ordered a size large and it fits, but I think that the xl would be better in the arm length. The price is much better than a womens small. I love this jacket and will defiently order anther color.

She loves the jacket so much I'm ordering another for her sister! She's 12 and wears a girl's size 10. I ordered the girls large -- it fits her nice with a little room to grow. Her 9 year old sister wears a 10 also, but she is shorter. The large was too long for her, so I'll get a medium. These are light weight but warm jackets and will be great at Girl Scout camp and for school.

The jacket is very high quality, has Polartec fleece which is the best, is very warm, and I think it blocks wind well also. I purchased a white/white one and branson blue, and both are very attractive. I wear a Medium in the Women's but I like the Girls XL fit better for me because I have more of a straight up and down athletic build. If you have a curvier figure, the Women's might be your preference. I've yet to be able to beat Altrec prices, and returns and exchanges are very easy as well.

I am 5'2" and usually find a Ladie's small to be too long in the arms and torso. After reading the helpful reviews posted here on the Girl's Denali sized Large, I found it to fit perfectly!The jacket not only fits well, but is warm enough for chilly days or warmer when layered with another fleece underneath. The additional material on the elbows really adds to the durability of the jacket. I'm planning to order another one in another color! I recommend this jacket to anyone who wants to warm and comfortable!

I'm 21 years old, but only 4'11 so I got the Girl's Denali Jacket instead of the women's, because it would be cheaper. I first got a large and it was too big, so I went down to a Medium. It fits perfect! I love the Pink pearl which is what I got. It's a great jacket for cold weather, as well as cool weather. I love it.

I thought I was just roped into buying the latest fad for my daughter. But the warmth is unbelievable! No more bulky coats on our coat rack or stuffed in a school locker. I was a little worried about the reviews about the size running big, but I have 2 daughters, 1 is a little larger than regular size and I was ecstatic that I could still purchase a "Child" size for my child instead of having to pay adult size prizes! Not to mention she will still fit into it next year. GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT VALUE! I purchased two more, sadly though, from another vendor because of the color selection was available.
