This vest is incredibly versatile. I bought it because I liked the styling and it seemed easy to layer. It has proven to be great for exercising in cool to moderate conditions where I live (Ohio). the material has just enough stretch which makes it very comfortable to move around in. In sum- highly recommend if you want something comfortable, breathable, and easy to wear over just about anything.

Very light and comfortable, perfect for a day hike, but not the best one for dressing up.

The Elixir vest is great. The key is how thin it is. It fits under any sort of outer shell you have and has a nice snug fit so it hugs your body keeping you nice and warm. It was key when I was snowboarding last weekend. It keep me warm and kept me nice and dry. It fit great under my North Face shell. It's a quality piece and you can't beat the price.
