Lightweight, keeps the heat in and wind out. I like vests better than jackets in spring/fall because they are much more flexible and not as bulky.

I love this thing. I went skiing on a warmer day and wore this vest and it worked well. I also like that it has some light insulation on the inside so it is a little more than just a fleece vest. It's actually warm. Craftmanship is top notch too. It's one of those pieces of equipment that make me think "man, I'm glad I bought this"

The North Face company has made a light wind resistant fleece vest, which is very durable and flexible in use! Vest can be worn on windy hikes, trail runs, snow shoeing, as well as be worn under a shell.
Anti - 2008-10-13nice vest for cool weather
I use this vest for commuting on my bicycle to work. It wicks sweat fine but the front zipper bundles up in riding position. It's great when I'm off the bike! Not a disappointment!
