Great for skiing w/ lots of pockets including inside stash and outside, wore w/ a t-shirt and light fleece on VERY cold days, took the inside/down layer out for snowshoeing. Terrific and very versatile, comfortable and non-binding for active sports. The inside layer is pretty stylin' on its own too. Very happy w/ this jacket!

I am very happy with my purchase of this jacket. It is warm and comfortable. So far, I have only worn it all together but I think that the insulated inner liner is also a great jacket. Some North Face liners are too small but this one seems comfortable and true to size.

The Banshee is almost as warm as the sheepskin jacket I used to have! I get colder than most people and was still cold w/the Nuptse. However, the Banshee kept me warm on a 20 degree day in MD. Cute and functional-you can't ask for more! Thank you so much Nolan for being extremely helpful and patient!

This is a great jacket for the price!. It is very warm without the big bulkiness of some jackets. It has all kinds of compartments to store things and vents to cool off if you get to hot.

It is one of the best jackets North Face makes. The 3-in-1 concept is the best; wear the inner liner on a pseudo-cold night, and wear the outer shell with the inner when you go skiing. Warm and cute.

Was really surprised how warm the jacket was. While on a ski vacation at Snowbird, liked having the zip out second liner jacket to wear around the hotel or going out for dinner. Another bonus was all the specialized pockets for MP3 player and ear piece, sleeve zip area. and plug cords to keep powder from coming in around the bottom of the jacket.

I really like this jacket. It's really 3 jackets in one with the zip-in liner. You can wear the liner as a separate jacket, or wear the shell as a rain coat, or detach the hood and wear it as a light jacket alone. Or, you can put it all together and have a really warm winter coat. The colors are great too!
