Sizing ChartThe North Face Women's Denali Jacket
No other fleece piece feels like The North Face Denali Jacket. The reasons are versatility and smart design. The Recycled 300-series Polartec® fleece fabric offers exceptional insulating warmth that easily works as a middle layer during winter skiing or as an outer layer while backpacking or camping in the summer. The North Face reinforced key abrasion areas along the elbows and shoulders so you don't have to worry about the frayed pilling and worn fabric found on cheap fleece pieces. The North Face also designed their Denali Jackets to zip into other shells made by The North Face, although keep in mind that you'll need to verify that the jacket is matched in the same exact size and is deemed zip-in compatible by The North Face.
- Warm and plush Recycled 300-series Polartec® fleece fabric with DWR
- Rugged and laundered two-ply nylon overlays along shoulders and elbows
- Zippered hand pockets
- Zippered left chest pocket with vertical opening
- Standard fit tapers slightly along torso but allows for inner layering potential

Fit Tip: This jacket fits true to size. There is a slight shape to the body of the jacket as it comes in at the waist and then fits to the width of the hips. The length will hit just below the waist. There is plenty of room for layering underneath for additional warmth.

I just received my Denali jacket and am so pleased with the purchase. I saw it in Macy's for 169.99 and I got it at Altrec for 119.00. I got a dark blue because I didn't want to have the same color (black) as my 2 daughters. I get compliments because you just see people wearing it. I'm 5 tall and have short arms so I always have problems with the sleeves. This jacket fit me just fine and looks so nice.

The North Face Women's Denali jacket is absolutely amazing. I live in Northern California, where it can get really cold, and this jacket is perfect for the weather. The material is very soft, and the jacket blocks all of the wind, one hundred times better than a regular sweatshirt. I have always heard good things about the brand North Face, and until I recently bought this jacket I just assumed it was a normal jacket. This really does keep you warm, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend that you buy one! I'm actually wearing mine as I type right now

This is my staple, living in Colorado. I wish I could have one in every color.
It is true to size and fits well. The sleeves have a ring of elastic at the cuff which helps keep the cold air out.
Be careful of drying the jacket. You can machine wash it but line or air dry it. If you repeatedly tumble dry, it will shrink just the tiniest bit (a bit in your sleeves) and changes the texture of the fleece. Not bad, just different.

My 2 teenage daughters have always worn the child size but unfortunately their arms have grown and the sleeves are 2 short. I made them retire the old ones and their grandparents purchased two new brown ones in adult sizes yay! They are going to be so excited when they get these for their bdays. The price is unbelievable and I am so glad we purchased when we did because less than 10 min after they paid for them their sizes were gone. These jackets are their favorite and everybody's first choice, very much worth the money. If you're lookin' for a warm lightweight affordable price make sure you purchase soon before they are all gone. Our local store charges $168 for the same jackets so this is a huge savings.

After losing some weight my other North Face jacket was too big so I needed a new one. I decided to order the small, I'm about a size 6 usually wear small tops and it is the perfect fit! I debated ordering the children's extra large, but after trying it on at a local outdoor store, I decided the sleeves were too short and it looked boxy. This jacket is so versatile..you can wear it when it's really cold out or when you just need a light jacket. It seems to keep you warm no matter how cold it is outside. This is the 4th Denali we have bought in our home and it is a huge hit with all ages. My kids wear their "north face" everywhere and in Minnesota, I have to say they are pretty trendy! :-) You will never regret buying this item and it's great to get it on sale, but I have bought two full price and they are definitely worth it!

Very warm and toasty, does a great job of blocking the wind. I've wanted one for a while and finally decided to pay the price... it's one of the best decisions I've made. The fit is comfy, not too loose, not too tight and my fleece tops fit nicely under it. It has a nice long length that keeps it from riding up over my pants when I bend down and the sleeves are nice and long and fit over my gloves.

Bought this jacket for my daughter who is 15 for Christmas. That day went to visit family across town. My daughter was holding a macaroni & cheese dish on her lap and it spilled all over her new jacket. She was devastated since it was just a few hours new. We tried to blot as much of it up as possible, as it was all over the front and on her one sleeve. When we arrived at our destination an hour later, alot of the spillage had dried. I took the jacket and ran the affected area under water in the sink. Under my amazement I saw the stains wash right off with not much effort. I didn't use any soap or cleansers, just water and the light scrubbing of my fingernails and then blotted dry. We hung the jacket up and by the time we left, the jacket looked and felt brand new again. I love this jacket. I am seriously contemplating on buying one for me!!!

The North Face Denali Jacket is comfortable and warm. It is an excellent choice for a fleece jacket! On the pricy side, but worth it. The only downside is that it isn't wind proof, so you need a wind-breaker over it at times.

This is the jacket my daughter wanted as she headed off to college in downtown Chicago. She loves it, although I did have a problem getting the right size for her. She is really still in Junior size clothing, so we originall ordered a small, however it was REALLY small. So we sent that back and were going to order a medium, but just to let her have some room for sweaters I ordered the large. That fits her perfectly w/o a sweater. She loves it and it is warm, but not bulky. We'll have to wait for the really cold weather there to see if it keeps her warm. Had no problem returning the other jacket and reordering. Very prompt service!

I too bought this since I'm always chilly. I wear it year-round: all winter long as my inside sweater/layering piece; out in to the beach for walks on the beach in the summer; and as a light outside jacket in the fall and spring. It was a great investment. I'd say the fit is true: I'm a 4-6 but got the Med. for layering/roominess. If you want it to look a bit more fitted/flattering, go with the Small.

I absolutely love my Denali. I bought it sophomore year of high school (6 years ago) and it is still perfect. I bought a 2nd one a few years ago, and I am getting ready to add yet another to my collection. The North Face is a wonderful company, and they really know what they are doing when it comes to making some great fleece jackets. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone! It will keep you warm and cozy on those chilly nights. The only problem I have ever encountered was that my black one seems to collect a lot of lint/pet fur/hair/etc, but this is expected with ANY fleece jacket.
