It's made with a Z-Ripstop shell fabric that's wind resistant, water repellent and completely down proof. Lightweight, highly compressible 700-fill down maintains thermal performance while sewn-through construction keeps the down from shifting and creating cold spots. Best of all, the Nuptse Vest is compatible with most North Face shells, so you can use it as an insulating layer beneath your favorite waterproof TNF outerwear.

This insulated jacket is perfect for weekend mornings on the soccer sidelines and performs well sledding and intertubing Stevens Pass. As a busy mom who now likes to spend time with my children outdoors, this fashionable layer does the trick and looks great too! I'd expect nothing less from a quality brand like The North Face.

We moved to a town where people walk everywhere all year round...and the average snow fall is 65 inches. We needed vests for the fall and beginning of winter and are ordering nuptse jackets for the rest of the winter. Have heard nothing but wonderful things and can't find our sizes in black locally (too much demand). Looking forward to staying warm this year.

I would order a size down than normal - you definitely look larger than normal with this baby on. Super warm and lightweight.

I have the long sleeve nuptse and the Metropolis and I love North Face Down. This vest is so easy to wear. I think it runs true to size- all my coats are and Xl and they fits great.

In the short time I've had my white Nuptse vest it has really made my life easier. It's so easy to grab it and go. It looks great with either a sweater or fleece and I've worn it with jeans, wool slacks or my tai chi clothes.

This vest is just what you would expect from North Face. the fit is great ( with white I went a size smaller for a more fitted look). Very warm, would definitely buy again in another color.

I love it. It is so warm. I probably could have gone a size smaller, but this allows me to put some layers under it (the chuncky sweater). I was very happy with the service and it's arrival time. I probably will be ordering again.

I purchased this vest as a replacement for my wife, she lost one on the airplane coming home from Minnesota. Her father had purchased a local brand and it just didn't compare to her old NorthFace vest. I had just purchased an LL Bean vest and she didn't like that one either, it was "too generic." Now that I see the North Face, I'll be ordering one for myself, the high collar, the form fit and the extra length are all plus' in our books.
